Arrival in South Luangwa
On arrival at Lusaka Airport, you will connect onto a domestic scheduled flight to Mfuwe Airport, where a guide from Robin Pope Safaris will welcome you and take you to Luangwa Safari House — your home for three nights in South Luangwa.
Luangwa Safari House — South Luangwa
Luangwa Safari House, situated in South Luangwa National Park, is an extraordinary castle-like house giving you space, luxury and comfort with nature on your doorstep. A stunningly designed private house with four rooms and a central living area, there is a pool in front and a deck leading out to a clump of trees under which meals are sometimes taken.
It is on the same site as Nkwali Camp, although guests are secluded and do not join any camp activities. A watering hole in front of the house attracts plenty of elephant, giraffe and buck — so there is usually something to watch.
Guests choose what they would like to do, and when, with the resident house manager who is also your guide. This property is ideal for larger families or groups looking for that little bit more exclusivity, and combines beautifully with Chongwe River House in the Lower Zambezi.

Canopy bedrooms open to the garden
Sleep under elegant mosquito-net canopies with arched openings framing lush lawns and tropical trees — indoor comfort with nature never far away.
Flight to the Lower Zambezi
You will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport to catch a scheduled domestic flight to Royal Airstrip. A guide will welcome you and take you to Chongwe River House — your next home as you continue your Zambian adventure.
Chongwe River House — Lower Zambezi
Time & Tide Chongwe House rests on a peaceful stretch of the Chongwe River, set against a beautiful mountainous backdrop. A two-storey, four-bedroom, four-bathroom private house, its design blends effortlessly into the landscape around it.
The house features private open-air bathtubs and showers, a large swimming pool, a boma area with fire-pit, and spacious indoor and outdoor lounges with interactive dining areas perfect for spending time together.
Chongwe House has been transformed with a refreshed rebuild and enhanced safari offering — an elevated sense of space and effortless indoor-outdoor flow. Throughout your stay, a dedicated staff and guiding team look after your every need in this haven for lions, leopards, wild dog and over 370 bird species.

Candlelit evenings on the deck
Dine under lantern light as the savanna glows at dusk — intimate tables for two or four with uninterrupted views across the plains and water.
Flight to Livingstone
You will be transferred to Royal Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. At Livingstone Airport, a guide will welcome you and take you to Waterberry Farmhouse — your home for the final three nights.
Waterberry Farmhouse — Livingstone
This private house sits on a plot adjacent to Waterberry Lodge; guests may venture over to the main lodge if needed. The Farmhouse has four bedrooms — two larger and two slightly smaller — and is taken on an exclusive basis.
A large open-plan living space leads through sliding doors to the veranda with views across the garden and pool to the Zambezi River just metres away. The kitchen is part of the house; guests are encouraged to treat the whole set-up as their home, with an open fireplace for cooler evenings and air-conditioning for warmer ones.
The chef and household staff are exclusive to the Farmhouse, as is a guide and a boat dedicated to your activities. For families or small groups of up to eight, this is an excellent option for two or more nights in the Livingstone area.

Riverside gatherings
Classic safari chairs arranged on the lawn make the perfect spot for morning coffee or sundowners with river views.
Home from home on the river
Warm leather sofas, tribal rugs and open arches to the garden — Waterberry Farmhouse feels like a private riverside retreat rather than a hotel.
Restful suites with garden views
Crisp white linens, patterned throws and circular openings framing the lawn create bedrooms that feel both elegant and deeply connected to nature.
Twilight dining for four
As dusk settles over the plains, enjoy a beautifully set table with candlelight, river breezes and the sounds of the African night.
